I'm currently in Bocas del Toro, Panama doing Professional Surf Photography. I will be around Central America until May 2008. Send an email my way if you are interested in some Great Surf Shots on your Spring Break or Family Vacation this year.

About 10 years ago, right when photography was becoming my passion I took Mary Setterholm's very first surf class in Manhattan Beach before there even was a Surf Academy.
Once I graduated from high school, I taught surf lessons with Mary, and all throughout college too. After I received my degree in Ethnography & Photography in 2005, I moved to Central America for two years to teach surfing and further my passion in photography.
Now Surf Academy has grown to accommodate Santa Monica, Huntington Beach, El Segundo, and the wonderful kids of over 60 challenging “inner city” communities of Los Angeles. And I'm back, this time as Surf Academy’s Professional Event & Surf Photographer. With such a high demand for great service, Surf Academy is proud to take it to the next level providing you with the option of high quality professional pictures of your surf lesson or event.

The prices are set based on how much it actually costs to make what you order, plus the 15% commission the web hosting service takes, I take an average of $2-$10 per item. I would like to make money on my photography for a living, but I understand that many people can’t spring for professional photos.
